Andrea West Design | Vintage Manor Project Living Room Reveal!
Hi all! It has been a busy week of catching up, and the best part is that we got the pictures back from our photoshoot we did of our Vintage Manor Project! We are so excited to share them with you and give you the behind the scenes of the design process that went into this beautiful space.
First off, let's just talk about our awesome client. We had the privilege of working with the most talented artist and creative soul, ever! You know it's going to be an amazing project when during the first consult, we are shown all original hand-painted artwork painted by the homeowner that we can incorporate into the design. We used all the artwork as inspiration for the space, and it was amazing. She also had a collection of vintage pieces that she had collected over the years from her travels, and items that had been given to her that were really meaningful. We used these as inspiration for the design style and feel.
For the color palette, our only request was to keep it soft and light, and to incorporate lots of pink! We immediately thought of blush velvets, rose toile fabrics, and soft knit throws. We also used existing vintage cherry tables to accent against the light color palette to give it sophistication and depth. Overall, it turned out to be a beautiful and soft space that they can enjoy for years to come.
