CARA LOREN'S BASEMENT PROJECT | INITIAL DESIGN PHASE
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend, and got more sleep than we did! Some weekends just don't have sleep in the plans... but you can sleep when you're dead, right!? :) Some of my best designing happens at night, when everything for the day has finished and my mind can just relax and get creative.
For those who follow us on Instagram and saw our Insta-Stories, you saw the exciting news that we are designing Cara Loren's basement! They have such a beautiful home, and we are excited to help them finish their basement and make it into one awesome space. We have some super-fun and creative ideas and can't wait to share them with you!!
We had our Design Proposal meeting, which is where we propose the Initial Design plans and go over everything from the floorplan design, finishes, furniture layout, lighting design, ... everything. There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes in preparation for these meetings, and so these proposals are always my favorite!! It's where you get to bring someone in on awesome ideas and share the vision you have for the vibe and feel for the space. We brought all of our concepts, designs, and samples and laid it all down. That's when you can really start to see the beginning pieces of it coming together
Here are some fun pictures of our meeting! Cara has such a fun style and personality and it was so fun to bounce ideas off with her and propose some new and exciting ideas that will fit their design style and lifestyle preferences.
