BABY GIRL WEST NURSERY INSPO!!

First off, we want to say thank you for all the response we have received on our baby announcement! We are so incredibly grateful for all the kind words, private emails and congratulations you have sent in response to our baby announcement! We are so excited for this next chapter in our life, and are moved by all the love we have surrounding us in our friends, family, and community.

With our latest announcement that we are having a GIRL, we have already begun to envision what type of girl, woman and person she will be. It's fun to imagine her with different personality traits that Aaron and I both love in each other, and are excited to see her own mix that makes her her very own person. We want to welcome her into a home that offers her every opportunity to fulfill her dreams and become her very best self. AND.. because of what I do for a living.. we of course have already started planning out the nursery!!

What we are envisioning for the nursery is a space that is soft and bright, but also has elements that add sophistication and contrast. I have seen so many nurseries that are super "cutesy" (which are adorable), but I envision a space that still speaks to a space fit for a baby but one that she can grow with. So basically, we want to mix the soft and sweet with a little spunk and sophistication. I was browsing through some stationary, and I saw the PERFECT palette that captures just the feel we are going for. That's what I love about our world and design in general, you can be inspired literally everything around you. This blush and emerald palette completely inspired me and I will use it as a reference point as I am designing our nursery:

I definitely want the blush and lighter tones to be the major color in the space, and use the darker emeralds (more of the blue based emeralds) as accents. And of course, no space is complete without gold accents. Throw that in with a vintage rug, it will be so cute!

Here are some nursery inspiration images that capture the style, and individual elements. It's always fun to pick pieces out from different designs, add your own color palette, and create something entirely new and perfect for your space. And in this case, it will be perfect for our little girl!
