Happy Monday everyone! Today we are sharing the kitchen reveal for the Mecham's home. We are including aaalll the good details, such as the design inspiration, serious eye candy pictures, and the sources!!
We wanted a traditional white kitchen, and bring in a fun pop of color with personality and warmth. We did clean lines accented with details to soften the style to create the "transitional" balance between traditional and more contemporary. We brought in some color with doing a soft blue-grey on the backsplash and metal accents with the pendant lights and stools.

This kitchen came together in such a fun, classic combo! My favorite way to design a space is to bring in classic elements with more fun, edgy pieces that keeps the space alive and interesting. The kitchen is where life happens as people gather around the food, casual seating encourages entertaining and spending time together while the food is being prepared, and truly makes it "the heart of the home."

ReplyDeleteWonderful kitchen! First of all beautiful colors. I always wanted to have white kitchens. Besides it is huge and really very bright - perfect! The dark floor also looks beautiful with these bright furniture; kitchens aberdeen are so perfect :)
