Industrial Farmhouse Dining Reveal | Aspen Way Reno
There's nothing I love more than reclaimed barn-wood mixed with a bit of metal. We designed our dining room to have the "Industrial Farmhouse" design style that had a beautiful white-washed oak table and chrome metal chairs. The combination turned out beautifully!
I wanted a softer feel for our dining space, and so I went with a solid oak table with a white-wash finish. The chrome metal chairs were the perfect metal piece to mix in and also kept if feeling bright and fresh. The only way a "bright and fresh" space can be effective is if you have a darker contrast piece to compare it to. To accomplish this, I brought in the black and white photos for our gallery wall, and made this awesome black orb! You can check out the DIY step by step here.
I absolutely love the black and white pieces that are more formal and classy against the farmhouse table and industrial chairs. It brings the perfect juxtaposition balance into the design and gives the space a fun yet fresh vibe. Perfect for entertaining!
