Traditional Home Reno | Fireplace Design Reveal

There's a common misconception in interior design that when you put larger scale items in a room, it will make your space feel smaller or crowded. You actually make your space feel larger when using bigger scaled items. This includes larger tiles in bathrooms/ laundry areas (depending on the pattern, of course) , artwork, taller and wider window treatments, and large BEAUTIFUL built-in fireplace/bookshelf designs.

In our Traditional Home Reno, we took what felt like a small, cramped space and turned it into a storage maximizing, focal point producing and fully functioning space. Here you go....

What once was just a blank wall now is beautiful space that both functions as a great place for storage, and a stunning focal point. If you're on the fence about adding a fireplace to your home, do it! Fireplaces are one of the top-must haves and increases the value of your home.

Stay tuned for the before and afters, and for a full list of sources!

Xoxo,
Andrea
