Aspen Way Project | Transitional Guest Bath Reveal
It's time for another reveal! I have definitely been on a bathroom design kick, and am excited to share the remodel for our guest bathroom at the Aspen Way Project. What started out with pink carpeted base boards now has chic, white grid walls and more.
We added industrial, swing-arm light fixtures to give an edgy feel, and to bring in a fun "metal mix" element. Mixing metals is a great way to give your space an eclectic feel, and a more detailed design. In this bathroom design alone, we mixed black, brushed brass, satin nickel, and chrome.
A simple gold frame turns a basic wall mirror into a statement piece. Statement mirrors are so fun and add a huge design element to your space.
With everyone going crazy with the Shiplap these days, I wanted to do something different and decided on a full wall wrap grid wall. It turned out exactly how I imagined, with adding a nice texture wall detail and a flair of sophistication.
This started out as just a tub. We popped in a shower head and added a full tile surround which made it visually more appealing, as well as more functional. You can see the step-by-step here.
